Moving Files

This is probably a pretty basic question but I don't want to screw it up so will ask anyway !

i'm running XP Pro and have installed a second hard drive successfully as a slave, and want to relocate all the music and picture files from the main hard drive onto the slave.

These files are distributed over several different users on the system and I am unsure of the best way to proceed without messing up the Windows Media Player playlists/settings, IPOD settings etc ?

Any guidance gratefully received !

Cheers
