XP Reboots
I am afraid I already know the answer is no but has anyone come up with a method to break into XP when it is in a rebooting loop because of an error. Can the cycle be broken?

well that depends on what the error says or is. if he has it set to reboot if it has errors you may want to turn that function off. so you can get the error message or be able to run diagnostics and antivirus checks on it.

yes, but.....
this reboot happens when you turn on the computer. it never gets into windows to turn off the reboot on error function. i am sure this will be the case when i get there with my little black bag of tricks and if i remember correctly there is no way to get into windows when it is suffering this way. about the safe mode.. i don't know yet if safe mode or last good config are going to be available to me. |
