Problems with Word?

Ok, here's a wierd issue I'm dealing with. When I try and use the thesaurus nothing happens. As a college student this is a very valuable tool that I cannot do without.

I'm not sure what else to say. I hit shift+f7, nothing. Go to tools and hit 'thesaurus', nothing. I restarted my computer, nothing.

Windows is all updated and I haven't really touched my computer to cause such a strange error. Anyone hear of this problem and know how to fix it?

I have Windows XP Pro if that helps.

have you tried re-installing word or fixing the install that is on your computer?? Sometimes things don't load right, this could be the case in your situation.
If you put the word or office CD in the machine it should ask you if you want to repair an install or re-install. I believe that is what happens.

From a newly graduated college student who lived by words tools, I hope this helps.
