Missing cab file

Running XP SP2. I have some applications when started prompt me with "Please wait while Windows configures Windows Office 2003" then it says "Installation file SKU011.Cab can't be found". Then "Original installation source required" (then prompts me to insert CD). I don't have an XP CD. Some applications will run anyway but I ran across one that will not (SpywareGuard). The other applications this happens with are some video encoding software. Any ideas?

Missing cab file

Is this a Dell machine? If so you can usually ask them for a XP disc and they'll supply you with one. I'm not sure if you have to pay or not but it's probably a pittance compared to buying the Full Version. If this is not a Dell machine here is how you can create XP setup disks http://www.tweakxp.com/article10741.aspx.

Custom job. I purchased it from someone and he wouldn't give me the CD for some reason. What's a .cab file? Is it essential? It just seems to be associated with the MS Office applications. Thanks much.

Probably wouldn't give you the disk since it was either not licensed or a warez (cracked) version.

It's not asking for the XP CD. It's asking for the Office CD.
