OS help... (installation)

Okay, as i'm installing Media Center... i get the prompt to install the second disc, and i do so,a nd it keeps going. Then, i get the prompt that says, "Pease insert the disc labeled : Windows XP Professional: Service Pack 2. okay, there are two problems with this... first of all... i'm not using XP Professional... im using media center... and also... i didnt get a disc for service pack 2....
i tried bypassing it... and it worked... but then i cannot get any applications to run.. and some of them close randomly... mos timportantly, i cannot install any of my drivers... im guessing because of this?

any help on whats going on or what i should do?

thanks
Jason

If you did the SP2 download like I did, your SP2 files will be on your OS drive in the Windows\Service Pack Files folder, at least that's where mine are. There is a subfolder of the service pack files folder titled !386, I would direct the search to the service pack folders\!386 folder first, if that doesn't do it, back up one level and try again. If those folders aren't there, use search to find their location.
