attempt to access invalid address
when i try and start some programs i get the following
-- attempt to access invalid address -- i uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but no luck. any suggestions? i am almost ready to hide in safe mode

Have you scanned your system for malware?
If it comes up clean do you have a Sytem Restore point you can use, one before all your problems started? If that won't work you still have the option of a repair install of XP if you have the XP cd.

whats the program? whats the file that it can't access? whats the OS? do you have sp2 or not? Lobos |

wow, time flies...
1.program: 16 bit tide and chart program 2. cant access the executalbe 3. win xp 4. no sp2, but sp1 i have reinstalled win xp, no luck and have also scrubbed my comp clean. thx darren |

You can try again running in XP's compatibility mode. |
