DOS problems on Windows 2000 Pro

Everytime I run a DOS program on my computer, it gives me a error of "This system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications, choose Close to terminate the application." While I know that all I have to do is simply use 98SE, but is there anyway around it?

have you tried setting the pif files for that program, also you should be able to set the config.nt and the autoexec.nt the same as it would be in real dos.
w2000 should be able to run most dos programs in its dos shell, but not all will work.
