Lost my toolbar and start menu. NEED HELP!
My brother in law was using the kids computer tonight to check e-mail, and now I can't seem to get the toolbar and start menu back.
I can't get it to reappear. I can get to Control Panel, via a folder, but when I try and click on Taskbar and Start Menu, nothing happens. In this condition I can't even shut down properly, I have to throw the main switch. Any suggestions? Mark |

Hey guys,
I tried all of those options, including the one from MajorGeeks, and still no toolbar. Any other suggestions? |

Not sure about the missing part, but if you ever have to shut down your system try alt-F4.

Try hitting the Windows key to pop up the start menu, then navigate to system restore. It should be in all programs, accessories, system tools.
