Missing
Hey everyone i was trying to reinstall windows on a Dell desktop for my g/f and i ran into two problems that i can't seem to get around. The first is that when you start up windows you get a choice which OS you want to boot and it's XP home edition just two choices of it. The first works and the second is the one that i tried to erase and write over. Now i just re-did my laptop two days prior to doing her computer and i had the same problem but mine somehow went away when i toyed with it but i can't seem to get hers to disappear. Secondly once i got windows up and running i tried re-installing all her drivers of the cd's that came with the computer. Now when i did my laptop the ethernet and wireless card drivers were on the cd and both installed nicely and work fine. On her driver cd however they just aren't even there. So now that i have no driver for her wireless or ethernet idk what to do to get them working again. Can't i just download them online to my pc burn them to a cd and transfer them? just really confused. Any help on these two issues would be great thanks in advance -

I made the attached pic for another issue, but on the right side it shows how to select the amount of time to dislpay the two OS choices. You can also click on the edit boot.ini file and remove the second OS selection.

Go to www.dell.com support section. Type in her Service Tag number and you should be able to get the drivers.
