Windows always does this

It seems like most versions of Windows have a problem with the taskbar appearing, not auto hiding, ect.

At times the taskbar either disappears or doesn't autohide, as I set it,
is there a fix for this?

I've run into this on Win 98, 2000, and now XP....

Thanks.... but that doesn't seem to be it. Usually it occurs after I have been running awhile, when a have a number of Windows open.

However... maybe messing with the settings is the key, it has seemed to fix the problem, for a while, in the past.
