I just installed a 2nd hard drive and want to install win 98 on it.I have win me on the 1st drive. Here is my problem,I formatted drive D: which is my 2nd drive and tried to install win98,but when the setup started it tries to install to C: my first drive and I do not want that,so how do I make the win98 set up program set up to D: drive only? One more question Which program is best and easy to use for a dual boot program on start up.

Go get the best (free) multi-boot manager at www.xosl.org
Install it via ME. Unplug the drive that has ME on it. Make the other drive primary master. Fdisk, MAKE ACTIVE the partition, and format the drive. Install windows 98. Plug the drives back in so it boots to ME. Adjust the settings the way you want in XOSL. |
