How Can I Reboot to Desktop WITHOUT having to Log On?

I have XP Pro and I used Safe Mode last night to change video card drivers and I logged on as an Administrator.

I want my pc set up so that every time I reboot, my pc will just go back to my desktop. But now every time I reboot I have to click my username in the log on window. I don't know what settings I changed but I just want to get rid of log on window.

I had to install Microsoft Net Framework 1.1 in order to run the control panel for my ATI video card. I don't know if my settings changed after installing that or what.

This thread was all I could find but changing administrative privelidges does not get rid of this annoying log on screen.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks in advance

Here is what I did on mypc witn XP pro:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;315231

I have 2 logins, 1 for work stuff and one for personal and I wanted mypc to automatically logon to my personal one when I first turn it on or do a reboot so this worked for me..

How many accounts do you have? If you only have one, just remove the password.

I tried both methods suggested and I'm still having to log on.

And now I get a message on top of the log on button:

"The system could not log on. Make sure your username and domian are correct, then type your password again."

I have two accounts right now, one of them is guest.

Nevermind. I forgot to change the username from "Administrator" to my name in the Automatically Log On Window from what EzyStvy suggested.

I just enterd my name and left the password blank and now I can reboot without the log on window appearing.

Thanks again
