I dont know what happened but after doing a clean registry with regseeker I lost the thumbnail view for my pictures....

I do a registry clean after uninstalling programs i dont use any more, this particilar time I uninstalled Corel photohouse, could this be the culprit????

I have been using reseeker now for about two months, and this the first time anything like this has happened..
TIA... GaryD..

Oops...Sorry...just noticed you're running W2K, not XP. You can try the fix below since XP and W2K are similar but no guarantees.

Has the view just reset itself or is the option to use thumbnails on the View menu no longer available? If the former, in a picture folder, click on View and then thumbnails.

If the thumbnail view is no longer an option, go to Kelly's Korner, scroll down to line 17 and in the right-hand column, click on "Restore Thumbnail Views in Windows XP" to download the fix. Once downloaded, run it and see if that fixes things.

The option to view thumbnails is there,--BUT--when I open the folder with pictures and select thumbnail view There is just blank squares with an icon in the middle I then have to open each picture to see the picture
