Question SVChost.exe and WIN32 error messages show when I turn on my computer! HELP!

Hello. I have a Toshiba P25-S609 labtop computer that is only 7 months old and bought in new condition. I am running Windows XP, and I have downloaded service pack 2. My computer initially began to show an error message that it detected a malicious script. I called Toshiba, and they were not able to help me. I later downloaded updates from Microsoft's website, and now everytime I turn on the computer, I get a SVChost.exe error message and a two win 32 error messages. The win32 error message has addidional text that it is there to protect the computer. I can click through the messages, and the computer appears to run fine. In terms of virus protection, I am running AVG and it does not detect any viruses. I ran the virus detection thing on Microsoft's website, and it did not detect any viruses, either. I called Toshiba, and they are telling me that I should just run the recovery disc and start over. If anyone out there has any solution to this problem, I would really appreciate the help. I have numerous files that would need to be saved elsewhere before I could run the recovery disc. I know there must be an easier solution to this problem. Thanks for any advice anyone can offer.

This is a shot at it:

Those are common files first attacked by Trojans and RATs to gain access to your computer. Ive been around this stuff. Those are leftover parts of a cleaned virus. I still dont know how this can be solved without reformatting.

I would reccomend Reformatting and starting clean. A program called Norton Ghost can help you out in the future. Cheap but EXTREMELY Effective. Helps to have a second HD or some blank cds and a cd burner in your laptop.
