Old File Compression

I haven't reformated my laptop for 2 years and 4 months now. Until now Im happy with it. Fast and stable. My old files are compressed(fontcolor of the filename is BLUE). I haven't let Windows to compress Old Files even system files.

I think it will slow down your PC when the compressed system files are being accessed. I will clone my hard drive soon and swap it in. How do I decompress my files to speed more up my PC? Anyone encountered this scenario not a problem really?
