System monitoring software
Who has the best system monitoring software?...preferably free. I would like to keep track of system temps and use it to overclock.
I am also looking for a good DVD player software. I was using Interactual player on my old computer but cant seem to find the actual download in their website. Thanks

System Monitoring Utilities:
1) Lavalys Everest Free Edition 2) Sisoft Sandra 2005 Lite Windows XP has a couple of system information tools built in: a) START>RUN>MSINFO for the Microsoft System Information Utility. b) START>RUN>PERFMON for the Microsoft System Performance Monitor, which will give you a lot of info on the system such as CPU load, memory usage, etc. For your DVD playing needs, I find that Cyberlink's PowerDVD is perhaps the best DVD player software out there. However, Windows Media Player (9 and 10) will do as a perfectly good alternative as long as you have a hardware decoder (most new video cards have those anyway): software decoders will tax the system and give you choppy playback.
