Outlook Express Problem
Hi All:
My Outlook Express won't stay at the "Western European (Windows)" that I select. I keep reverting back to "Greek (Windows)". What do I have to do to make it stay at "Western European (Windows)" ? Your help will be very much appreciated, and thanks ahead of time. See example at ... http://home.earthlink.net/~billlane27/mail.html OS: WinXP Pro, Outlook Express 6. Bill Lane

Hi EzyStvy:
It was set to "Western European (Windows)" already. I had checked that and everywhere else that allows you to select a language, but I just can't put my finger on what's keeping this thing set to "Greek (Windows)" in the e-mail section. Where you ask me to check is for International settings. Like the link shows in the e-mail settings, it gives you the option to select either "Western European (Windows)" or "Greek (Windows)", but it won't stay set. Any other thoughts? Thanks, Bill Lane |

In the Font settings (button next to the International Settings button), is Western European also selected? Whatever's selected as the default will appear at the bottom of that window next to the "Set as Default" button. If it doesn't say Western European there, select it in the list, then click the Set as Default button.

Hi Miz:
There is no "Font Settings" button next to the (International Settings Button). Take a look ... http://home.earthlink.net/~billlane27/mail-2.html Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? Let me know what you think, Bill Lane |

Hi rjfvillarosa:
It's set to "English (United States) Still reverts back to Greek Thank you, Bill Lane P.S. I don't mean to say that writing a new message, that it uses Greek fonts. It writes in English, and I have it set to use "Comic San MS" It just has that title in the upper left corner saying "New Message Greek (Windows)". Last edited by Bill Lane; 04-04-2005 at 01:50 AM. |
