squeek no mouse on win 200 pro
I just upgraded to win 2000 pro on my old comp which used to have 98 on it and the problem is that my wireless mouse won'y work any more and neither will my usb flash device, the regular old mouse i had works

well we can look at the similarity between the two, since its a wireless mouse, I am thinking they both are usb, since most are made for that, have you verified the usb drivers are installed for win2000? for some system it doesn't load them and you have to find them, though other times, you can see a big yellow question mark and it will say it cannot start as well.

They worked when it had 98 on it and the keyboard and mouse use one receiver, one cable is usb the other is ps2, i was thinking of reformatting and doing a complete reinstall of 2000 since the reason that i upgraded was to ue visual studio, I will look for the usb driver first since my flash drive doesn't work either, but the keyboard is the one that attaches to the usb so im kinda confused, I hope i answered your questions in my confusion, i just reinstalle dthe drivers as well and as my frien would say still no dice
