Taskbar

Hi all,

Anyone know of a fix when the Start/taskbar at the bottom stop responding, in Win2kPro? I have a user at work, sometimes, cannot click on the taskbar. The Ctrl+Esc also doesn't work. The only way is to cold boot to get it working again. Could this be spyware?

Thanks
Daisie

could be spyware or virus, but highly unlikely.
I think it could be caused by a misbehaving program or process or network problem.
is this computer networked?( doh, most likely yes)
ask this person what program is running at the time or programs before things
go banana.

Thanks alfie2

Yes, the computer is on a network. All the user had opened was Outlook 2000, nothing running in the background. This has only happened twice on her computer. I also don't think its a virus.
Thanks again, I'll try and run spyware software on it.
