Angry Fire explorer.exe Error

Attached is an error ive been getting everytime i browse inside a folder containing Video files, images, mp3's or a combo of them. For awhile it seemed that turning off thumbnail mode in the folder in question did it. but now certain folders are acting up, despite this. Every time the error comes, I click ok, Windows closes and reloads the taskbar, and sometimes it will disable Active Desktop asking you to re-enable it. Any suggestions?

BTW, the system is in my sig, XP Home.

TIA,
CN

Have you tried clicking cancel and debugging it?

Tried that. I know what happens when I click cancel. Since I have MS Visual Studio 6, It loads Visual C++, and loads up assembler code of where the break occured. In this case, the system hangs when trying to load it, and i have to task manager my way out of it. But i do know something new, The error message attachement i gave came from a folder with pics and vids i loaded from the memory card from my camera, every time i go into "details" view, it spews that error, on other occastions, if I open a certain file on the folder. It seems that each folder which has lots of media files in it, the error comes out in different ways. Sometimes instantly, sometimes after I scroll down a bit. Weird huh?

TIA,

Does it happen with other folders that have pics that didn't come from the camera?

In Explorer->Tools->Folder Options->View Tab->Do Not Cache Thumbnails->whatever it's set to - reverse it (if it's checked - uncheck it)

Well most of my pics do come from the camera. but its not just the pics. This error also pops up on folders with a good bunch of video files, or mp3 files. Such as the 'My Videos' folder, or a few of the sub-folders in the 'My Music' Folder. the system is already set to not cache thumbnails, but I dont see how that IS being a problem, if that is the cause

EDIT: Alright, I think im getting these symptoms straighened out. Alright, this problem doesnt seem to be affecting folders with large amounds of music files (i think that was a seperate incident which Ive already solved). And as far as the folders with pics and vid's go, ive noticed that when I change the view of folder (say from, thumbnails to details), and scroll to where the videos are, the moment that the first video icon becomes visible to the screen, the error pops up. Now, surely it cant be a thumbnail issue if the view is details, could it?

TIA,
CN
