Boom Toughie!!!

Alright check this one out, Got to customers site, keyboard and mouse working intermittley, found out that the board was crack from customer installing memory. Installed new motherboard and then installed old processor both boards are socket 478b installed memory which is type compatible with board, turned computer on and nothing happened, wouldn't even turn monitor on, so I thought it just might be the video card, replaced with brand new card and same thing nothing happened. Removed heat sink and processor only to find that the black pad that is in between the heat and processor was melted to the heat sink, ordered a new processor do u think this will fix the problem. I even swapped out the memory with brand new memory and that didn't work either. So hopefully the new processor will fix the problem. Let me know what yall think.

If the pc was running to some extent before you got there, I'd guess that either the mobo is grounded out or the wiring was set back incorrectly.
