just thought of something

ok i have recently done many window's XP reinstall's for some friends and everything has gone perfectly. what i just thought of though is that one of my friend whose computer i need to do soon doesn't have the windows CD like the other the windows "recovery" is on the hard drive already. How do you go about reformatting this type of hard drive without deleting the recovery and re installing it.

inside that recovery folder there should be a way to make the restore cds. Try that, and if that doen't work you will need a win xp cd and xp liscense.

Yes you should be able to make that recovery on a bootable CD consult with manufacturer (on their web site) or manual given with computer!!!
