I keep getting this .exed error! Read more

HFLVHEIT6.EXE

^^^^^^^^^^

There is always an error when I start up my computer. it has to do with this .exe. Is it important? How do I fix it? Its killing me.

What kind of error, what does it say exactly?

I am leaning toward you having a virus infection. That is a random generated .exe name, with Google turning up no results. Time for malware scans.

I agree with rightcoast deffinitly run antivirus and antispyware if not successful in normal mode boot in safe mode and do it again.!!!

P.S. Please next time post bit more info on problem and yours configuration!!!

Okay. I am at work so when i get home i will try some antispyware and antviruses out. Which program do you reccommend?

I will get the information on the sepcifics of the error when I get home so stay tuned.

Hi rip856,

It is important to scan for these in a certain way, so try to follow the advice I gave to dpuckett in the thread linked to below. It is just a basic virus/malware removal process, and may or may not be enough to fix your problem. It is the best first step though. Keep in mind to substitute whatever anti-virus application your using when I speak of Norton for him, if you use a different one, and post back if anything there is unclear to you.

heres the application that pops up at start up guys.

could not read "0x7c9111cd" reference memory "0x00180003"

Ok to terminate
Cancel to continue (i think it says contine)

i terminate (ok it)
