Straight from the forum rules:
Quote:
Workarounds which comprimise security, bypass password protection, or otherwise go to gain unauthorized access to private data or information is prohibitied. Links provided to locations that offer tutorials or tips for any of these activities are also forbidden.
We cannot help you with the forum ban. You'll have to take that issue up with a moderator or admin of that specific forum.

As for the yahoo "hacking", change your password and secret question & answer. Yahoo accounts are not "hackable". Either that, or sign up for a new account.

The other thing the "hack" could be is that they either relayed the email through your account, or just simply put your address in the from field with a 3rd party mail client and sent the message that way.

I'd suggest changing your email address, and don't reply to chain letters.

And change your security question. "The favorite pet or Born in" one they ask. I'll stay out of specifics, but suffice to say especially among people under 20 or so, your friends access to much of the info needed to get a password.

Change your PW, security questions, and maybe your acct if you feel the need. This time try to keep security in mind with that stuff because if your acct was accessed, it was social engineered, there's no chance it was hacked.

Like Force Flow says, it was probably spoofed.

You get banned from a forum, so you come in here and ask us how to evade the ban? I don't think so. Thread closed.
