win98 installation dilema

am on vacation--brot my notebook but no recovery/system discs.

friend accidently formatted his comput--he has win98se setup disc but no bootdisc.

i set his machine's bios to first boot from cdrom butr i still (only) get the "c" prompt (hdd).

is it possible to reinstall win98se on his machine with just the win98se installation cdrom?

if so-can sumone link me to a page outlining this procedure with the needed dos syntax codes included?

tx

You can make a bootdisk from the 98SE CD in your laptop.
