need help

Looks like I need a driver for my built in ethernet card on my pop main board.What should I do? Check the attachment

Should I flash my main board?

If you double click on the Ethernet Controller icon, does it say in in the status box: Drivers are not installed?, if so you might just simply have to install the drivers. Im assuming you have your mobo CD? just pop it in, and install the drivers from there.

Depending on how old the motherboard is or the cd i would go get the lastest via or nforce chipset drivers would be better.

ALL those drivers are on the Asus CD. Install the Intel Chipset Identification Utility first, then the Ethernet drivers. DISABLE the onboard sound in the bios if you have an Audigy. The USB controller should unflag when you put XP SP1 or SP2 on.
