WindowsXP Administrator problem
For some reason Windows has decided to sign me on as a guest account all of a sudden and I am unable to re-establish myself as the Administrator. I have followed PC Mechanics tips about Command prompt "net users Administrator" but this doesn't help. Anyone any ideas?

Try signing on as the Administrator in Safe Mode. Then use the User Profiles in the Control Panel to reassign Admin rights to your user name.

Nice try Panama Red but as in Normal mode all reference to an Administrator has disappeared so I can't change the profile or log in as anyone apart from "DESKTOP/JAC".
Thanks for trying though, any more? JAC |
