Unusual IE behavior
A friend is experiencing unusual behavior with IE6 running under Win XP Home SP2. She has a retail web site which includes some secure pages that report details of her business. To get to the menu for these pages, she:
Navigates to www.hersite.com/fm/menu.cfm - the login/password screen appears Logs in - the menu appears Clicks a menu item, eg, Upload Transactions (ut.cfm) - instead of the correct screen appearing, the login/password screen reappears but the path to the correct screen shows in the address bar: www.hersite.com/fm/ut.cfm Logs in again and the Upload Transactions screen finally appears. Neither her webmaster nor I can duplicate this behavior using IE6 on our PCs. This does not happen when she uses Firefox. Here's what I've done - updated and run NAV and three different spyware detectors all of which report that her PC is clean. - uninstalled unnecessary applications (from when her kids used the PC) - reset services using Black Viper's "SAFE" recommendations - disabled all unnecessary applications that start at boot time Can anyone shed some light on this or suggest something else to try? Thanks EdP |

In IE try going to Tools->Options->Advanced tab->UNcheck "Enable Intergrated Windows Authentication"
