An interesting idea for a Winodws recuse disk

I spent the weekend using a DOS based Windows resue disk to fix my computer/HD. I decided I needed to buy an official resue CD, like norton, MacaFee, etc. Then I read an interesting idea over on the Alternative OSs folder. They use the Knoppox Linux Live CD as a rescue disk. If Windows just won't start they use the Knoopix live CD to access the HD and move important files to a USB pen drive.

I just never thought of using Linux as a recuse disk for Windows, sure beats typing in those DOS commands.
