Error message in ME
My sister is using ME on an Compaq Presario, not sure of the model. When she boots up she gets the following message: dmn1jotn41thd has caused an error with imagehlp.dll followed by one beep. The computer then freezes, and cant even be turned off without turning the power off on the surge protector. I have ran virus scans directly off the Norton disk,and get no results. She has tried to restore using the recovery disk and the built in restore, and gets no results. I have searched and searched for this type of message and UGH once again no results. Has anyone ever heard of this type of error message?? Thanks

At least give safe mode a try, and let us know if that works..
