XP Home BSODs

I've been using my Dell Dimension 8200 (XP Home) since April 2002 with no problems, but in the past month I've received three BSODs.

Because I never had any problems, I pretty much ignored the first BSOD thinking it was a fluke so I did not make a note of the text that appeared other than it was a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.

The second BSOD had no specific message, but the stop code was:
0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x804E8B48, 0xF8C1DC20, 0xF8C1D91C)

The third BSOD was a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA with the stop code:
0x00000050 (0x8B400010, 0x00000000, 0x804E8BB4, 0x00000000)

These three events were each separated by several days and I use my PC every day for about 12 hours, ie, most of the time, it's starting, running, and shutting down perfectly.

Since I purchased the PC, I installed a FireWire card, a second drive (DVD-RW), and a second hard drive, but all these installations were made long before I started getting the BSODs. I did some searching on this problem, but I did not find any information specific to what kind of action I should take.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks
EdP

Thanks for the replies ...

Panama - I'm not using a Lexar USB drive
macko - I scan for malware and viruses frequently. No problems.

Since I posted my question, I have had no BSODs. Can it be that simply posting to this forum cures problems?

Stranger things have happened at sea........

Tell me something, what antivirus and adware/spyware scanners are you running?
Have you done the SP2 update?

I would test your ram - one of your modules may have developed a glitch.
