password protect folders?

my professor is teaching a semester abroad, and a visiting professor will be using his computer over the semester. he wanted me to secure it up, so i wanted to know the best way to do this. some of the files are in his documents, while others are in the c:\ folder. he has full privileges, and the other user, too, will have full privileges. this is windows xp pro

thanks
craig

You better not encrypt the root c:\ - Windows will have a hissy fit. This will essentially encrypt the whole drive. I'd move all sensitive files into a dedicated folder and protect only that folder.

i am not planning on encryting c:\, just some folders inside of it like c:\doc's stuff, c:\lesson plans, etc

if we can move everything, we will. thanks a bunch
