boot.ini invalid
ok i accidentally deleted my boot.ini file. So i booted up my xp pro cd and went to DOS. There i typed in fixboot. Now my pc will boot up fine but after the CMOS in the upper left corner it says invalid boot.ini. But it will still boot into windows fine? Is there a way to get rid of that message?

You could try msconfig, type that in the run box,to get there, and click on boot ini.tab, you'll see check all boot path's or something like that and have xp check it,see what it says and get back with it.
