Real Crash!
My kids really did it this time. The computer, under XP, completely crashed. (Hardware OK, just windows crashed). I can't get back in. When I put in the Windows CD to repair, it keeps asking for the administrator password to repair. Neither my kids nor I remember putting in an administrator password and I have tried all the typical passwords to no avail.
Is there some way I can wipe out the administrator password so it won't ask it from me so I can repair the disk. Or, alternatively, is there another workaround someone can think of? Thanks alot!!! |

Unfortunately, Forum rules prohibit discussion of "password workarounds". While your intentions may be honorable, others may use this information for malicious purposes. I'd suggest you peruse the MS Knowledge Base for a possible solution. Sorry, but I have to close this thread.
