Real Crash!

My kids really did it this time. The computer, under XP, completely crashed. (Hardware OK, just windows crashed). I can't get back in. When I put in the Windows CD to repair, it keeps asking for the administrator password to repair. Neither my kids nor I remember putting in an administrator password and I have tried all the typical passwords to no avail.

Is there some way I can wipe out the administrator password so it won't ask it from me so I can repair the disk. Or, alternatively, is there another workaround someone can think of?

Thanks alot!!!

Unfortunately, Forum rules prohibit discussion of "password workarounds". While your intentions may be honorable, others may use this information for malicious purposes. I'd suggest you peruse the MS Knowledge Base for a possible solution. Sorry, but I have to close this thread.
