Unhappy Activation Question

On a computer with the ability to be on two computers at once for example 1-2 cpu. It is currently active on one computer and and is active on a another computer. If i format one of the hardrives and put linux on it. Can i use that operating system again on another computer.

Thanks

No offense, but that question makes no sense at all. XP can only be run on one computer and only activated on one - legally.

The "1-2 CPU" thing means it will run on a dual processor rig, not 2 computers.
