user account question
is it possible to login as administrator when you use the welcome screen because i don't even see it; the other method you just type in administrator and the password and i goes in but how do i do this if i use the welcome screen

The is an option to turn off the welcome screen under user accounts in the control panel, it can also turn off fast user switching. This option is actually easier to find in the new xp control panel instead of classic, you just click user accounts and click change the way users log on.

To log in as administrator in XP Home, you have to do it in safe mode.

thanks but i looked at doctorgonzo's link and i pressed ctrl-alt-del two times and it worked
