Messed up on Windows installation! Please Help!

I was doing a repair install on my Windows XP Home Edition, but it wouldn't install all the way because some error comes up about some driver. So then I tried installing Windows XP Professional over it. It installed fine, but I can't going into my old account name under the "Documents & Settings" folder. When I click it, it says not accessible and I can't seem to get into it even though I put my hard drive into my other computer. I really need to get into my files badly and if anyone knows a way to, it would be much appreciated!

Make sure your account has Administrative rights and try to take ownership of the folder.
