Removing icons from control panel

I am trying to remove 2 icons from control panel but when i click on i do not get the option. I wish to remove Java and Java plug in 1.3.1 04. I cannot find these elsewhere, Any ideas please?

You have to uninstall the Sun Java. If you are using it, you need the icons to make any configuration changes.

Hi GLC, I have uninstalled java but i am still left with the icons in control panel and if i click on them it says the system cannot find the key specified. This is why i would like to get rid of them

Thanks GLC, that has got rid of one of them which was Java but Java plug-in 1.3.1 04 remains. Do you have another magic number up your sleeve for this one? Would you mind telling me where i can find these references?

I searched my drive for *.cpl and those were the only ones that started with J. You can right click on each .cpl file when the search is complete and look in the properties to see what it is. I have 3 jpicpl32.cpl files.
