1. ME is not a qualifying OS for a XP Pro upgrade, only a XP Home upgrade. You would have to do a clean install or a dual boot.
2. No problem. You can network any Microsoft desktop OS from Win95 through XP with any other one. |

You mean clean install? Reformat the hard drive and install XP. A dual boot would require a second hard drive or a second partition on your drive to set up properly.
What kind of Internet connection do you have? |

Boot from the WinXP Home CD and during the installation process you'll be asked if you want to format the hard drive.
If you want to wipe the whole hard drive clean, use KillDisk. This utility will zero-fill the hard drive essentially wiping everything else off. It's like starting with a brand new hard drive. Cricket

Broadband is easy to share with a router as long as you have a modem with an Ethernet output. Dialup is a different story, that requires that sharing be set up in Windows and can be a pain in the neck.
