Spontaneous reboot

For the past week my computer has been spontaneously rebooting under certain conditions. It happens when the machine is first turned on, connected to my ISP, and using either Opera, IE, or Pegasus Mail. The Pmail reboot has happened only once. Once or twice, it rebooted twice in a short period of time. After the reboot, the computer is stable for the remainder of the day. My system is a Pentium 4 2.4 GHz, WinXP Pro, SP2, 512 megs.

Can you give us some specifications and what OS and antivirus/spyware scanners are you using?
Did you make any hardware/software changes just prior to this problem?

Turn off the Auto Restart on Error feature so you get a BSOD with an error message. Post the message back here and we can help you trouble shoot it.

I'm using: ezAntivirus, AVG Anti-virus, Ad-Adware, and Spybot. All signatures are up to date. I can't remember what changes were made prior to this problem.

I got a reboot this morning. I turned on the computer, launched Pegasus Mail, downloaded
mail, launched Opera and shortly after the following blue screen was displayed:

Technical information

xxx Stop: (0x0000007e, 0x0000005, 0x33504741, 0xf8b6cc84, 0xf8b6c980)

Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump complete
Contact your system administrator...etc.

The computer was probably on for less than 20 minutes.
