Windows 2000 Pro service pack 4,help please.

Hi
I am going to download Service Pack 4 for 2000 pro soon.My question is will I need to re install device drivers and software after installing this update?I currently run 2000 pro with service pack 1 installed,it runs ok apart from an error messages appearing when I run Creatives Media Player in "full" mode.Any advice appreciated.Cheers.

Nope. After you install it, however, there are about 42 critical updates you also should go get from Windows Update. Hope you have broadband.

Service Pack updates shouldn't affect any hardware functionality. The only time I've heard of software problems after a Service Pack install was when SP2 was released for XP. Those were more security patches that software manufacturers needed to introduce to assure compataibility with XP SP2. You should be good to go with 2000.
