task manager in trouble!!!

pls help! pls help me to enable the task manager. i cant use the task manager because the dialog box said it was disabled. ps help!!!

Hiya rasherdy, and welcome to PC Mech!

Does it say "Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator"?

If so, you may have to contact the owner/administrator of the machine to have it re-enabled. Try the link below and see if it works. NOTE: modifying the registry should only be done if you are confident in your actions. There is always a risk when modifying the registry, so please understand that before following the link below!

This is a security measure that your system admin may have taken on purpose, so hopefully I'm not showing you a way to surpass your administrators' security steps.
