Question Documents & Settings Folder

Hello,

I removed my windows xp manually by making the bootable HardDisk a slave one, then I booted from onther HardDisk and removed all windows xp folders on the old harddisk.

then i discovered that I want some important files on "Documents & Settings" Folder, I didn't removed this folder yet But the problem is I can't access this folder it gives me the message: "Access denied".

I am afraid that only the previous WIN XP can open my files

You will have to take admin rights of the folder and files. Check this page out: http://support.microsoft.com/default...308421&sd=tech for details on how to take admin rights.
