Smile Can't find my received e-mails in MS Outlook!!!

My operating system is Windows XP home. I an using MS Outlook to send and
receive my e-mail messages. All worked great until a few days ago. I noticed that when I receive an e-mail message, I hear the sound saying that a new message has arrived, BUT - the new message DOES NOT appear in my INBOX!!!
(I have no idea where the new message is going!!) Also, when in INBOX I only see: "From" and "Subject" (above the message) - "Received" is nowhere to be found!!!

Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem???

Thank you.
