IE6 problem
One of my machines has been running ME flawlessly for about four years, until today,
 for no reason what so ever, whenever I try to open a link in a web page the browser opens but the address does not appear in the address bar and the page just sits there blank. It doesn't matter if I click on a link and it tries to open a new page or if I right click then click open in a new window same thing happens.I am sure this is just a setting that I have over looked but I can't find it, any suggestions will be most welcome. ME with all updates. IE6 with all updates. AVG7 with all updates. Adaware 1.05 with all updates. I ran housecall this morning with no results.

Not yet, I was hoping it was a setting I had missed but the more I look the more certain I am that I haven't missed anything.
edit...Thanx for the response gl, it's sorted now I just used the IEfix utility, pity because I would have liked to have known what caused it, excellent little utility by the way twenty seconds and it was done. Last edited by rjfvillarosa; 05-17-2005 at 06:46 PM. |
