sata problem with dual boot xp home

I have copied my old system to my new SATA hard drive and all worked fine. I then
loaded xp home on a seperate partition and all loaded correctly. I then turned my
pc off and i got a message 'something' like this:

No Disk, this is due to the /s switch while formatting, please use sys :x to repair.

I cannot boot my pc now as this message appears straight away.

Any help/ideas would be most appreciated.
system details:

dual boot xp home
asus a7v600-x
1024 pc3200 ddr
Amd xp 2000 cpu
sata hitachi 200gig
ide 80 gig
cd rom

I had a similar problem once where i tried a dual boot, everything seemed to go well, and when my pc reboot i got system couldnt find the disk, please check to make sure the hard drive is plugged in. i fixed it by downloading a utility from my hard drive manufacturer, burned it to a cd, and ran it when my pc booted up. it zero filled my hard drive, and allowed me to start over and reinstall my Operating Systems.

here is a link i found to help with your dual booting
