Boot screen
This is probably in the wrong place, but couldn't find anywhere else to stick it. So apologies if incorrect.
I have just had a custom boot-screen made to replace the 'normal' XP one, however everytime I try to use BootXP (new compatible SP2 version), the new boot-screen appears and the a BSOD. Repairing the Boot.ini gets me back to normal windows boot-screen. Does anyone know of an easier fool-proof method to change the boot-screen without any errors? I have several image of hard-drive using Acronis TrueImage so not bothered if it all goes wrong. Thanks in advance. |

Thanks for reply. Have tried that and BootXP all with same result - BSOD (Stop: 0x0000007E).
Any other suggestions? Thanks Negs |
