Question xp & 2000

I have both on my laptop & want to remove 2000 as have xp on both my home pc's. Can someone please tell me the easiest way to do this. I don't want to mess it up & really don't want to have to wipe the hard drive & start all over again.
Much appreciated in advance

If XP and 2000 are in separate partitions and do not interact with one another, can you not simply delete the partition that contains 2000 using partition magic or something similar?

Question xp 2000

Unfortunatly they are on the same partition which makes it difficult. Well impossible for me as I don't know how to delete one without other.

Thanks for answering

It's possible but wiping will give you much better long term results. If you don't have a drive space issue, just set the startup options to automatically start XP without pausing at the boot choice screen.
