Exclamation System processes

i was looking at my system processes on my windows small business server 2003 and i noticed that it was running 50 processes. is that normal for this OS to be running that many processes? i have included a jpg of my system processes to help you. i didnt recognize any spyware or viruses running. this pc isnt used except as the domain controller. i have this pc connected directly to the cable modem and run a second NIC card to have the server manage my internal network so all traffic is passing through this pc, plus it is hosting all of my files as well.

There's some stuff in there I don't recognize.

First try running adaware, spybot and MS antispyware.

A quick look shows background processes for your Exchange, SUS server, ScanSoft PaperPort, AVG antivirus, ISS, SQL server, DNS.

Looks very normal.

Thats a ton to me, I only have 19 running after I first boot up my computer. It all depends on the software you have installed on your machine but I am the type of person who closely monitors what is going on “behind my back” and always get rid of processes unless they are absolutely necessary. But just because you have that many does not automatically mean you have malware on your machine.

EDIT: NM you are running a sever, I was talking about my home PC, I am not sure what is normal for a server to be running.
