I just installed Win 2k Pro on both of my home boxes in a dual-boot setup with Win Me. I cannot get the boxes to see one another under 2k, all is fine under Win Me. The machines can share the DSL connection under both 2k and Me, but do not show up at all under My Network Places. I am a total newbie to Win 2k and need help. I figured you guys are the best palce to ask as you've never let me down before. The config of the 2 boxes is as follows:
Box 1 Celeron 600 256 Meg Ram Asus CUV4X Mobo Asus Geforce 2 MX SB Live Value 2 Nic's DSL Connection using PPPoE Box 2 Celeron 366 128 Meg Ram Abit BH6 Mobo ATI Xpert 2000 SB 128 1 Nic Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Cheers!!

I already have file and print sharing installed, will try Netbeui though. Is this really necessary for 2k, as I don't have it installed for Win Me and both computers see each other fine in Win Me?

Cobra is right...I had to network it with other OS's and it may be wierd and it may be quirky but enabling netbeui and listing Win9X machines as power-users was the only way to get them to talk on my network at work.
